Vesuvio Pizza (formally Ukrainian-Canadian Joint Venture Company Vesuvio Ltd) is a highly recognised brand in the Ukrainian marketplace.

With over 11 years of experience in Ukraine (our doors opened 5 August 1992), Vesuvio Pizza has been a pioneer on the Ukrainian marketplace. Vesuvio Pizza introduced North American style pizzas to Ukraine, was the first to offer pizza delivery, and the first to make frozen pizzas (retailed through Ukraine's supermarkets).

For the first two years, Vesuvio was a take out and delivery operation, serving fresh pizzas to Kyivans. In 1994 Vesuvio opened its pizzeria on vul. Reytarska 25, and in 1998 another pizzeria at vul. Franko 19 was added. In 2004 pizzeria at vul. Franko 19 was moved to Shevchenko bvd, 2.

In 1998 Vesuvio also started producing frozen pizzas, now sold throughout Ukraine in almost 500 stores. Frozen pizza is the choice for many who enjoy pizza, but haven't got the time to go to a pizzeria or wait for the delivery of a fresh pizza. In 2006 Vesuvio will be introducing frozen lasagna, frozen crepes, and other products throughout Ukraine's supermarkets.

Kyiv Post, Kyiv's weekly English language newspaper, has named Vesuvio as the best pizza five years in a row.
